06/01/2023 Turtle was rescued at the Navarre Beach Fishing Pier located in Santa Rosa County, Florida. Tank suffered from multiple hook ingestion after being caught in recreational fishing gear. He was rescued and rehabilitated at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park. Funding for care was provided by the Animal Welfare Institute - Christine Stevens Wildlife Award.
06/13/2023 After a full recovery, Tank was released at Inlet Beach located in South Walton County, FL ! Prior to release, he was outfitted with a satellite tag.
