02/28/2023  Turtle was found floating off Indian Shores in Pinellas County, Florida with signs of lethargy and uncoordinated swimming – symptoms of red tide exposure. Shenandoah was rescued and arrived at the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. Funding for care was provided by the Animal Welfare Institute - Christine Stevens Wildlife Award.

05/17/2023  After a full recovery, Shenandoah was released at Clearwater Beach in Pinellas County, FL! Prior to release, Mainer was was outfitted with a satellite tag.
